SMCIS celebrated Teachers’ Day with a lot of excitement, gratitude and deep respect for all its hard-working teachers. The celebration did a terrific job with joyous performances, kind greetings and genuine thanks to illustrate how unique the link is between instructors and students. The children came together to thank their instructors for all that they had done for them. Their love, their energy and inventiveness made the event unforgettable.
Janmashtami Celebration 2026 A Kaleidoscope of Devotion, Dance and Divine Joy
Seth Malook Chand International School, Aligarh, celebrated the auspicious festival of Janmashtami with great joy, devotion and enthusiasm. The school campus came alive with vibrant colours, soulful music and energetic performances as students participated wholeheartedly in the festivities. The programme featured a beautiful blend of dance, music, devotional presentations and cultural performances, beautifully portraying the divine charm, innocence and playful spirit of Lord Krishna. The celebration was graced by the presence of Chairperson Mr. Ajay Agarwal and Directors Mr. Abhishek Agarwal and Mr. Akash Agarwal.
The programme was organised under the inspiring guidance of Principal Mr. Vivek Dixit, Academic Director Ms. Shikha Singh and Headmistress Ms. Mala Verma, whose encouragement motivated the students to participate with confidence and enthusiasm. The much-awaited Dahi Handi programme added excitement and festive energy to the occasion, followed by vibrant dance performances that filled the campus with happiness and togetherness. The celebration beautifully reflected devotion, culture, creativity and joy, leaving everyone with cherished memories of the festive day.
Grandparents’ Day and Janmashtami Celebration - Sep 2026
Seth Malook Chand International School celebrated Grandparents’ Day and Janmashtami with tremendous enthusiasm. The event was graced by Dr. Sanjay Bhargava, Dr. Mani Bhargava, and Dr. Ramesh Chandra Sharma.
Under the guidance of Chairperson Mr. Ajay Agrawal, Directors Mr. Abhishek Agrawal and Mr. Akash Agrawal, and Principal Mr. Vivek Dixit, students presented colourful dances, cultural programmes, devotional performances, and a skit based on Lord Krishna.
Principal Vivek Dixit highlighted the important role of grandparents in a child’s life. Fun activities and games, including Housie, were organised for the grandparents.
The celebration concluded with joy and appreciation for the efforts of the students and teachers, leaving everyone with cherished memories of love, togetherness and Indian traditions.
Inter-House Book Balancing Competition Pre-Primary (Play Group to UKG) and Classes I to II
Our young scholars took center stage on July 17th to demonstrate remarkable poise and concentration in our Inter-House Book Balancing Competition! From Play Group toddlers to Class II students, everyone gave their best effort, making the event an inspiring success. Congratulations to all participants for exemplifying true sportsmanship and focus!

On July 24th, our middle school scholars lit up the stage in a spectacular showcase of music and dance! From soulful vocal performances to high-energy dance routines, students from all four houses demonstrated inspiring teamwork, artistry, and confidence.
