A Festive Evening at Dharampur Courtyard
Aligarh’s festive season was in full swing on Friday evening when Hindustan organised a Dandiya Utsav at Dharampur Courtyard. The programme brought together music, colour and community, and it gave the city a chance to celebrate together in the spirit of Navratri.
Seth Malook Chand International School Among Those Honoured
At the event, the directors of Seth Malook Chand International School, Mr Ajay Agarwal and Mr Abhishek Agarwal, were honoured by SSP Neeraj Jadaun and SP City Aditya Bansal. They stood alongside a number of other business and education leaders of the city who were also recognised on the same stage.
A Moment Shared With the City
Also present at the programme were singer Ankita Mishra and Mrs Pratiksha Jadaun, wife of the SSP. The honours were presented before a lively audience, and the photographs from the evening show a stage full of smiling faces and a crowd that clearly enjoyed the celebration.
Why Community Moments Matter to a School
A school does not exist only inside its walls. Its students, parents and teachers live in the same city, share the same festivals and take part in the same public life. When a school’s leadership is recognised at a city event, it reflects the trust that families and the wider community place in the institution. For Seth Malook Chand International School, that trust is the foundation on which everything else is built.
Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow
The school lives by its promise of learning today, leading to tomorrow. That promise is about more than classrooms. It is about children growing up with a sense of belonging to their city and a respect for its traditions, from cultural programmes like Sanskriti Sangam to festival celebrations like Dandiya. The directors dedicate this recognition to every student, parent and teacher who makes the school what it is.
